What it does

✏️ Edit content, create pages and manage the menu right in the browser — live-preview editor with backups
Food menu with sections, prices, allergen numbers (the legend lists only the ones actually used) and vege/spicy/new badges
Weekday lunch menu: the whole week on one page with today highlighted — a “Today we cook” homepage widget, edited in the admin
Live “✓ Open — closing at 10 pm” badge in the header and on the homepage — computed from the opening hours in the config
Table reservations: date, half-hour time slots within opening hours (last one 1.5 h before closing), party size — reservations overview in the admin
Photo galleries of the interior, kitchen and beer garden — copy in photos, the site builds fast WebP thumbnails and a lightbox
Events and news (pig feast, specials…), guest testimonials and an FAQ
Versioned drink list or catering offer downloads — new version = same link
Full-text search incl. PDF contents, no CMS and no database — runs on ordinary PHP hosting
